Cardholder Import "Failed to create LnlSourceIDScan.IDScanPersonDataSource" error

Symptom

When attempting to import cardholders in System Administration > Cardholders form and clicking Import, you get the error Failed to create LnlSourceIDScan.IDScanPersonDataSource: Error code 0x800401F3.

Resolution

Perform the following procedure:

  1. Install the Acuant SDK from the Supplemental Materials media.
  2. Install the Software Development Kit (SDK).
  3. Run the Register_CSSN_Files Powershell script as described in the SDK's ReadMe file.
