How to replace the ribbon cartridge in Nisca PR5300 series printers
Procedure Steps
1) Turn the printer on and make sure the front service door is closed.
2) Press the "Ribbon Change/Menu" button. You will hear the print head being retracted.
2) Press the "Ribbon Change/Menu" button. You will hear the print head being retracted.
3) Open the front service door of the printer. Flip up the green lever on the upper left hand side.
4) Slide the black ribbon cassette unit out of the printer with slow even force.
5) Replace with the new cartridge or refill the existing cartridge with new NiSCA approved ribbon.
6) Slide the ribbon cassette back into position
7) Flip the green lever back into the locked position and close the service door.
Follow LCD menu screen to continue printing.
